Reserves

Q:  How can faculty place items on Reserve?

Faculty may place library books, personal books, and copies of articles on reserve for their classes. For further information visit the Circulation/Reserves page or call 229-4248.

Faculty may also put copies of articles on electronic reserve (Ereserve). For more information, contact the Electronic Reserves Assistant at 229-4301

Q:  What is Ereserve?

Ereserve, the electronic reserve room, contains images of articles and other resources selected to supplement classroom instruction. Ereserve is available via the Internet at the address, http://ereserve.udayton.edu/ and requires Adobe Acrobat Reader, a free program. Visit Adobe's Web site to download the program.

Access is limited to members of the course, and students must receive the course password from their instructor.

Q:  How can students access reserved materials?

Inquire at the circulation/reserve desk in the 1st floor lobby for reserve materials. The UD Online Catalog lists materials on reserve by course number and instructor.

Some reserve materials are available in an electronic format through Electronic Reserves. Instructors will supply passwords to their classes.

Q:  Does the library have any videos?

For information about videos, see How Do I Find a Video?
