Copying in the Library

Q:  Can photocopies be made?

Yes. Two copy machines are located in the first floor lobby, one is in the rear of the Reference Room on the first floor, and two are on the second floor.

Q:  Can I make copies from microfilm?

Yes. The library has machines that can make paper copies from microforms. They are located on the second floor in the Microform area. The library also owns a digitizing microfiche/microfilm reader that will convert a microfiche/microfilm article into computer readable form.

Q:  How much are the copies?

Photocopies cost 5 cents apiece. Copies from microforms are free.

Q:  What are copy cards?

Copy cards are debit cards for the photocopiers. You may purchase copy cards at the first floor Circulation Desk for an initial cost of $5, which comes with $4 worth of copies. After the first purchase you may add more money to the card.

Q:  Do all the machines take money?

Yes, and all of the copiers accept copy cards (except for the machine in the rear of the Reference Room).
