Materials Preparation/Book Binding

The Materials Preparation/Book Binding department generally prefers 1st and 2nd year students who can work year-round. Graduate students are welcome during the summer months. Individuals should have manual dexterity and be able to safely handle various cutting tools/machinery. Work involves the use of adhesives, erasers, and cleaners. Cross training with the Bibliographic Management department is encouraged.

Office hours:
Monday - Friday 9:30am-4:30pm
Students will work during these times (scheduling flexible with classes)

Duties include:
Stamping and labeling books
Moving/delivering carts of books
Book repair
Photocopying
Applying security strips
