Marian Library Student Assistant

The Marian Library generally prefers 1st and 2nd year students. Certain jobs in the Marian Library may prefer fine arts, history or religious studies majors. Preference given to federal work study but not required. Individuals should work independently; be detail-oriented, flexible, and comfortable in a quiet environment; possess typing ability and good communication skills. Preferences include familiarity with computers, word-processing, or knowledge of a foreign language (French, Italian, German, Spanish).
Office hours:
Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Students will work during these times (scheduling flexible with classes)
Duties may include:
shelving
filing
typing
word-processing
database entry or maintenance
answering phone
photocopying
coffee preparation
handling mailings
installing art exhibits
entering brief records in online catalog
special projects
other miscellaneous tasks
