The Office of Building Services/Student Employment generally prefers 1st - 3rd year students who can also work during the summer months.  Preference is given to federal work study but not required.  Much of the work involves squatting, stooping, lifting, reaching, being on one's feet most of the time, and some contact with dust from handling the books in the stacks.

Office hours:
Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Students mainly work during these times, but with approval of the supervisor, can work evenings and weekends as well once properly trained.

Duties may include:
processing incoming/outgoing library mail
reshelving, shifting, and/or shelf-reading books
special projects
other miscellaneous tasks

Visit the Roesch & Marian Libraries' student employment office (RL201A) or call us at 229-4228 to see if any student positions are currently available.
