Records of the planning effort were obtained from Fr. Barrett when he left the
university in 1974 and from the provost's office in 1980. Includes reports of
various task forces; minutes and other documents of the Planning Coordinating
Committee; minutes of the Planning Council; memoranda to the president from the
Planning Council; and material of implementation of recommendations. Because of
declining enrollments and revenues in the 1970's, many of the recommendations
were not implemented, 1970-73.

studies see the box lists. O.E.S. is one of the four centers of activity and
research which comprise the Center for Christian Renewal at UD. The O.E.S.
provides assistance to schools , and school districts to enable personnel to
reach policy decisions based on relevant knowledge and value commitments. Among
its priorities is service to Catholic schools and networking for value concerns
related to educational policy-making. The O.E.S. is located in, draws support
from, and uses the resources of the School of Education at UD, 1976-80/ .
